3.6q Mobil 1 is the best wear resistance. 5w-30 weight. The 2.4 uses a timing chain that's lubricated by the engine oil, so dont run up the miles even if it's full synthetic. Change at 3k

Loosen the drain plug until it leaks you want to keep a good hold on it you may have to hold it and take it all the way out and then carefully thread it back in. Too much oil can force past or damage your piston rings. It may damage more depending on the car. It's gunna be messy though....

No need to get under the car. Just take off the passenger side front wheel and then take off the splash shield (right behind the wheel). The oil filter is right there.

+MyChannel Thanks for checking us out! You can either tighten this down to snug and do another 1/4 turn or you can go about 20 ft/lbs or so. The oil will be specific to your vehicle and can be found in your owners manual for quantity and type of oil needed.

Question: If one puts to much oil in vehicle, will the vehicle smoke heavily?

How do you reset the service light?

After the repair, sometimes it will clear after 3 heat cycles, or after 80-100 miles. If it doesn't turn off, you may have to clear the code manually with a scanner. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 866-403-3393

The amount depends on the car we are talking about; for a 1.6L engine, it is usually around 3 - 3.2 quarters of engine oil. I hope that helped.
