Great video! And --- if the head on the 13 mm tensioner bolt is rounded off (as was mine) the right hand pulley on the tensioner can be removed, leaving the tensioner itself in place. There is sufficient clearance to pull the pump.

Great video 👍🏻 I have a 04 Jeep Liberty and looking at it there isn’t much room to get my hands down to the bolts because of the fan. Did you remove the fan before you started the video?

I know nothing about cars but I own a 05 Jeep Liberty and my water pump is going out. Found out when my timing belt slipped off it’s track. Coolant leaking everywhere 🥹 but I can’t afford to take it to a shop and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty was able to get the belt back on but that wrench 🔧 in ya video through me 💸🥲

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty and my fan cover (where it says Caution) extends forward so that there's no space at all to pull out the water pump. At least it looks that way. I hate to get halfway through and find that out?

What does the 40-foot lbs & 30-foot lbs mean. Like I see you have a special socket wrench so like will I need that type or if I went without could I still get the job done?

That's a torque wrench. They're generally a little pricey but you can get a fairly inexpensive one that may be good enough for this at harbor freight unless you plan on using it a whole lot.

After changing a couple alternators in a few of my cars over the past 5 years this looks like a piece of cake, I always hate the belt patterns though.
