You are wrong. They are two models. Fishman presy 201(presy +) and Fishman presy 301 (presy blend)

Very nice. Regardless of the fake or real thing, putting those flexible pickups in can be a hassle because the end is smaller than the rest of the pickup. Putting a hole to accept the end in the other side of the saddle slot, as you did, only exposes the uniform thickness of the pickup to the saddle. Had not seen that before.

The "fake" one is actually not fake, it's pre-2019 version of presys blend, which has been stamped, i guess, hundreds of thousands of times? so that's why it's so cheap. The "original" is the 2019 design, still, even many guitar factories still use the "old" version.

Ask fishman! They'll tell you that this version never was sold separately, but only built in some guitars, never sold as is. Meaning that occurs also to the one called "original".. And there's lots of fakes around.

Thanks Potzky, that was very informative. I have the same fake unit and it's starting to cut out. If I tap the volume control it bursts back into life. I think I'll do what you've done and install real one too. :-)

The quality of material they use specially its wires and plastic parts. Regarding the fishman pickup if it's sold separately...yes i bought it just the pick and DIY to my yamaha classical guitar.

Di balance ang sound nung nauna kong nabili online compare sa original. Pero may nagsabi sa akin na ayusin lang yung wire kaya lang napansin ko medyo low quality talaga yung wire nung una kong linagay.
