Mine just did the same thing,i also noticed your dash cracked,mine is cracked all over,chevy really did a shitty job with the interior, everything plastic has broke on mine.

I’ve wanted to replace the cracked dash, but it looks like a pretty intense job so I have ventured to do it yet.

Same mine is cracked in the same spot but my latch actually came off
