The key is inside the caliper but the adjustment nut is the fused piece that will snap before the key should, correct? So the adjustment nut is something I can get if someone were to say, try to adjust the tappets inward for pad replacement without releasing the brakes? Some idiot I know did this and I will never do it again. I am thankful as I thought the whole caliper would need replaced if that adjustment nut broke. One should also be able to cage the brake can to adjust also, I assume. But I will just release the brakes next time.

I saw the key but never saw where you put it on anything. I saw the brakes going in (like drums) but never saw what you put the key on.

Who sends the key? I bought my pads at Freightliner and I don't have the key to loosen the pads.

When I bought mine a came with a key. Other than that fright liner dealership should have. The key will break if you try to over tighten it.. It is a safety feature not to break your caliper. The key is really cheap so by a few keys just in case yours breaks as well.
