New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com trq.video/ic-1...
This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 1995-2001 Ford Explorer. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.
This repair was done on a 1997 Ford Explorer Limited 5.0L Sport Utility 4-Door 4WD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:
1995 Ford Explorer
1996 Ford Explorer
1997 Ford Explorer
1998 Ford Explorer
1999 Ford Explorer
2000 Ford Explorer
2001 Ford Explorer
