This video shows you how to install front brake pads and rotors on your 2002-2004 Honda CR-V. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.

Nice video, very clear and easy to understand. One thing I'm wondering - I've done my own brake jobs for decades, but I've never greased the caliper bracket slide grooves behind the metal clips. Those don't move so I see no reason to do so. I only apply grease to the inside of the clips where the pad's tabs are actually sliding back and forth. Maybe some anti-seize would be a good idea to prevent rust, but greasing that area between the clips and the caliper bracket seems unnecessary.

Some shop stripped my moms 03 crv rotor screws and I tried drilling it out and nada I can’t believe a shop would do such a scam tactic like that smh
