If you are here looking for help for a 2015 body styled Nissan Quest like I am...hope these notes help. This is the second time I've done this job on my van. Make sure you remove the strut (shock and spring). The old control arm will come out without removing the strut but good luck getting the new one in with the strut attached. Even disconnecting the strut from the steering knuckle I found isn't enough. You need to be a able lift up on the new control arm in order to get the proper angle for the frame bolts to line up. And for the frame bolts, it is easier to torque from the bottom with a closed end wrench securing the top nut. I found doing the ball joint inserted first, then the front frame bolt and lastly the rear frame bolt is the best order. I'm not saying you should use these but my torque specs were: two frame bolts for control arm 114 foot lbs (back bolt longer than front so don't mix them up)., sway bar bottom nut 75 foot lbs, outer tie rod was old man strength to get past the cotter pin hole, control arm pinch bolt 50 foot lbs, two strut to knuckle bots 125 foot lbs, three top bolts for strut extra old man strength tight, and axle nut 155 foot lbs and cotter pin.

You removed the axle nut but then it doesn't look like the drive axle actually ever came away from the backside of the steering knuckle? When you were yanking on the steering knuckle in order the insert the ball joint, it looks like the drive axle is still attached to the steering knuckle? What am I missing?

Thank you, it is an awesome video and helped me a lot to DIY. But please check: 8:25 - the torque bolt-to-frame - 255Ft/LB is probably too high, I googled, and it should be 155Ft/LB. If I am not wrong.
