First off, thank you for making these extremely helpful how-to videos for us everyday hard working shade tree mechanics! I have used several of your videos and they have all proved to be very helpful and have saved me a lot of money. I wanted to comment that this video is extremely helpful, it just needs to state that this strut replacement is for an Expedition with 4-wheel drive. I wish this video had been done with a more common two-wheel drive Expedition. With my two-wheel drive 2016 expedition I did not have to disengage the drive axle. Also, the stock strut does not have a horizontal thru-bolt on the bottom of the strut. Instead the two-wheel drive model has two pressed in bolts in the bottom of the strut and insert into the lower control arm aspect from the top not allowing the strut to be removed easily once you get everything else disassembled. I had to pry way down on the lower control arm aspect so the the strut would come out of the upper pocket. There was not other way. It all worked out and the new struts had new thru-bolts, nuts and washers so installation was much easier. I also didn't have to disassemble my entire brakes. It was just a lot heavier and wigglier and had to be wired up to keep it from flopping down and around and in the way, and stretching out and pulling on the brakes lines. Overall great videos, especially the rear strut replacement on this same vehicle. Saved well over $1000 doing it with myself. Biggest roadblock was locating a torque wrench that went to 400 ftlbs. I tried to purchase one but was out of stock and didn't feel like getting a $500 tool that I'd probably only use once. Luckily was able to borrow one from a long time mechanic friend of mine. Worked like a champ!...TORQUE'D!!

Ty for this video !! You were very fast I wish I could’ve did it this fast in my garage lol . The only thing I would mention in the description 2007-2017 expedition but it’s actually 2007 -2013 expedition due to the change in the lower strut change in 2014 -2017 expeditions it has a different setup two studs at the bottom of the strut instead on the larger single stud / bolt .

You over torqued some of the bolts. You tightened them with the air tool and the torque wrench immediately clicked/beeped without turning the bolt.
