What if the front bolt got broken trying to take it out? What has to be done to get the bolt out of the groves? Big trouble here. Nissan X-Trail 2.5L 2005

Seen people weld a piece of metal to the remaining part of the bolt and then unscrew it, an extremely dangerous fire hazard. I'm sure a good mechanic will have a better option

Can you do this while car is on the ground?

From what I've gathered, the work should be done unloaded (off ground) but torqued when loaded.

Y u want to remove both bolt? Did u see in clam, there is( u ) cut mark ?🤦 Nothing you are guiding viewers ...no Torque 🤔

Surely you have to remove both bolts to release the rubber bushing, the slit is to remove it once the clap is off... however I agree re the missing torque wrench 🙃. I intend to replace mine on my E12 Nissan note but can’t find torque settings anywhere

@@dom1982c You are no mechanic if you need to ask for torque settings , we mechanics go by our own hand tightening s specs ..
