Just did the driver's side (left) turn signal on my '98 VW Passat. The thing was filled with water which eventually blew out the bulb. Repairs underway. You video was the key to getting the assembly off easily (and dried out) without breaking it. Muchos Gracias !

I replaced both left & right on my 2020 Passat. The plastic gets brittle over time and the alignment tabs and the hook for the spring broke. Replacement Tyc from RockAuto was very reasonable. Part#s 3B0953041 (left) & 3B0953042 (right).
