You can tell by the big boot on the CV joint going through the CENTER of the hub that this is the four wheel drive variety.

How were you able to torque the top bolt on the hub assembly?

I would recommed taking out the axle to make more room . Its easy to take off .

Just tried changing one today on a 2000 Silverado and the hub pulled out without the assembly. Any advice on how to remove the rest of it? It's pretty seized in there

I don’t understand where do y’all get 177 ft-lb. I purchased the Manual for 1999 5.3 2wd, it says 133 ft-lb.
