easiest way to remove axle nut is to loosen it when ur loosening the lug nuts while the tire is still on the ground. u wont have to screw around with a pry bar and risk bending stuff.

Change out the torx head caliper bolts to Hex head ones. ❤

2006’Duramax 224 ft lbs caliper bracket bolts. Put 2 new Timken a few months ago.

You could have left the caliper in the bracket. ALWAYS TIGHTEN THOSE CALIPER BRACKET BOLTS TO THE MAX!!! Trust me, I lost a bracket and it reeked havoc on my truck

I COULD have, but it's just a preference thing. It would have been more weight for my old bungie cord to hold up lol. And I wouldn't recommend tightening anything "to the max", but just to the specified torque value. An overtightened bolt is just as dangerous as a loose bolt.
