is this the same procedure for doing the Driver Rear Window Regulator with motor for the Ford Edge Sel? I was so happy to see your video for a Chevy Silvarado Rear Cab Window Regulator with motor Replacement-I followed it as you instructed and not being mechanical at all, I did it all on my own and felt so proud of myself and wanted to let you know that thanks to your video I was able to same myself $$$$$ but now I need to do my 2013 Ford Edge Sel Rear Driver Window Regulator with motor. Being a grandma of 66 years old I am proud to say that its never to late to learn, especially with videos like yours-thank you so MUCH, awaiting for your reply

If the regulator is busted and the window does not go up and down?

Seems like a good way to get to the door latch, too. The spindle that the cables wrap around seems to be the part that fails, leading to the cables getting tangled and torn up. I had the same thing happen on a 2006 ford fusion. Similar design, but the fusion was more of a pain to get apart. I wrapped a wire around the door and the window gap, then tied it to the piece that holds the window on the regulator when the window was all the way up. That should buy me some time until parts arrive. I took the speaker off, too, which made it easier to get behind the panel and raise the window up.

I never would have guessed that the door latch had to be loosed to get at the bolts to take panel loose. Very poor design. Thanks for showing me before I broke something prying on the panel

Thank you for this detailed video! I have a window that squeaks bad when it goes up and down. I am thinking I need to take the door apart to fix it, could it be the motor or window regulator that needs to be replaced?

What if you don’t have power to get those bolts to line up, can the window be lowered manually?

So you just skip over how to remove the manual door lock rod? The only part I can't figure out
