Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ fuel pump with integrated sending unit in your 2003-2007 Nissan Murano.

To release fuel pressure you could unplug that electrical connector to the pump then turn over the engine for 10 secs or so to clear the line.

I dont know if it matters or not but when you reinstalled the cover plate the fr and arror is 1/4turn off its pointed to side of vehicle and was pointed to rear before you started but thanjs for the video it was big help

Good video. The biggest issue I had was replacing the lock ring. I ended up bending the protruding metal bits over the lock ring to hold it down, before using my brass punch to knock it into place.

Thanks for this video....I think my fuel pump is going out in my 06 murano...I cant hear it when I turn the switch to on...just changed the MAF sensor ...air intake assembly...crankshaft ...converters...it would start but shut right off

my murano died, got under it and smacked the fuel tank with a hammer few times about four days later. started up, drove about a mile and died again. does that pretty much guarantee the fuel pump is out?

This is a bad video. This dude should know better than leaving pressure in the fuel line before taking the pressure line off . And you have to clean the top of tank off first before taking anything off. You clean all the leaves and debris away before this and then you pull the fuel pump fuse and try to start the car to release the pressure. Otherwise you spray gas and fumes into your car or a customers carpet. And you are supposed to use a brass drift to get the lock ring loose so you don’t cause a spark with an open fuel line and gas on their carpet.

so i guess this is a COMMON problem?? i just purchased the same car my first car by myself at that🥲 and my gas indicator is broken on the car!! so if the fuel pump is replaced it will fix the problem ??
