This video shows you how to install a fuel pump module assembly on your 1997-2006 Jeep Wrangler. Combustion engines need three things to operate: fuel, air, and spark. If your fuel pump isn’t delivering the fuel your engine needs, it will run poorly, or not at all. Or, the pump is fine, but your fuel gauge isn’t working. Many modern pumps include an integrated sending unit. Either way, a new engineered to fit fuel pump for TRQ is just what you need.
This repair was done on a 2003 Jeep Wrangler SE 2.4L Sport Utility 2-Door 4WD Manual and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Exactly what needs to be done to my 97 tj...you do not happen to live in south central Michigan ?

My fuel line broke between the fuel pump and the aluminum hard line....someone cobbled it and none of the fittings are still there....any idea what I should do...its a 97 tj with 6 lift...good shape accpt the line from the tank to the aluminum....any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not have any of those tools that make it easier...lift....tank jack.

I would have to clean all of that dirt up before I opened the tank.
