I found this video very helpful. I was left in a situation today, in which my cousin Left work early, and I was left in a predicament when trying to grease a lawn mowing machine. This video pulled my eggs out of the frying pan this time. I also have avoided that brand of grease.

Thanks, dude. Clear and concise, no dickin around.! Thumbs up!!

Very good without confusion. The whisper coaching by the cameraman was unnecessary but, you did a good job of explaining the steps in their proper order - something I have difficulty keeping track of. My new grease canister is now installed in my grease gun and I have already lubed up some grease fittings on my mini-van's rocker arms and on my mower. Thanks.

Thank you for this. My fellow equipment operators said that if I couldn't figure this out then I had no business operating our heavy equipment. Tip, the spent tube may not come out easily, a pair of pliers may be needed to pull the old tube out

Moving the plunger in and out a few times after the pumping part has been removed solves that issue.

As a “small” kid around 10 years old (that was 60 years ago) pulling the plunger back was the biggest challenge for me. Farm life was different back then, we did plenty of stuff at a young age.

Had I watched your highly informative video before attempting this procedure, I would not be out an excellent grease gun. I did not heed the warning of "Do not cross-thread the top" of which you emphasized. Stripped the threads.

N4ANE, nice effort. I noticed 15 twists to remove barrel and five twists to reinstall barrel; humm! When your camera man warned you of this, you ignored him. I had always envisioned you "First Responders" working together as a team, looking out for one another, Oops. Tim. Also you ignored the advice of the person speaking, "who warned of "cross threading" the barrel on reinstall.
@N4ANE8 жыл бұрын
Yep yep that was my bother in law that was seen doing this and I was holding the camera after I turned it off we fixed the cross threading issue
