This video was great. She explain what she was doing and what sizes of wrench’s she was using. I would like more of this type of videos. Thanks

Real repair, real female mechanic, not an actress. I wish she makes more repair videos, her voice is not irretating like other women pretending to be mechanics. Big thumb up for the camera man and for his third hand help at 5:00

To replace the entire tensioner assembly do we need to remove alternator or compressor?

No

Im hearing some sort of intermittent chirping noises from what I think is one of the pullys. Serpentine belt is brand new. Only makes the noise at random and will stop if I put it in neutral. Ideas? 🤔 Have this same engine. 2010.

Its the idealer pulley in this video this engine 2014 and older have that problem

+Riasat Khan We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c

You have to be mechanically inclined to do that because you have to raise the engine
@sce2aux19694 жыл бұрын
Dumb question, but do you have a part number for the item being replaced? Seems like Toyota will only sell you the entire tensioner piece.
@1AAuto4 жыл бұрын
+Brian J. We do not currently have this part in our inventory. You could check out partsgeek.com as they carry many more aftermarket parts.

@@1AAuto Thanks. I was able to find the part locally. $20 vs 200 for the whole piece vs. 450 for the dealer to replace. Your video saved me a bunch of money :)

I did mine in less than an hour. The trick is to get the L shaped belt remover not the straight one which is hard to remove when the belt is off.
