How to replace impeller of canister filter

Hi can you explain why you changed the impeller. In the video the old and new looked same and old didn’t seem like was damaged. Thanks.

This is just tutorial how to replace the impeller, not to advice to change the impeller with out any problem. to answer your question, I have a slow movement on my water flow so I change the impeller into a new one because most of the time the stock from the original is so weak, so now I have a better water flow in my fish tank, thanks for your question

They can wear internally where they spin on the shaft and become noisy.
