They should be removable. They're almost identical. Sometimes Samsung phones even reads the Bluetooth code as just XB900's. The entire 900 line should have removable cups

yes.....they are tightly tucked on to the body with rubber hooks....i kept pulling hard and one hook broke....so pissed off...so anybody reading this dont pull them as u do usually with other sony headphones..

@@Mee399 you can get them off though, but requires a lot more finesse and reaching in the gap with a blunt blade of sort to help pop the edge out around it. Almost ripped the foam off mine until I tried to reapproach it.

Hello, the ear pads for the XB910N model have a plastic ring with clips that snap on and off the ear cup. We will be making a video on how to replace the ear pads and the slider parts for that model soon.
