This is a tutorial video on how to teardown and replace the LCD and glass screen on your Apple iPhone 11. (The entire IPS LCD + Digitizer +Glass screen + frame assembly)
Its the same procedure and same glass screen used for all carrier models.

1. Pentalope screwdriver
2. Y Tip Tri Tip screwdriver
3. Small Phillips head screw driver
4. Hair dryer, Heat gun or Hot Plate.
5. Prying tool

apple doesn’t sell the original screen unless you’re like partner in another big company. they sell lcds on amazon but ur going to get the non genuine apple notification but it goes away after a few days

It's not unplugging the connectors first that does the damage, it's plugging the connectors in after the battery is plugged in that could fry the backlight.

@@njmusic837 is right. Phone is never waterproof and never advertised as such by Apple. It is "water-resistant". Once cracked, or used for any amount of time, the water resistance is nil. Sweat, debris, heat, cold, etc all negatively impact water resistance. As I've said elsewhere on this post, if you buy screens from a reputable distributor, they will come with a replacement gasket, which will help return it to Oem, but will never be as good as right out of the box.

That's because you have to have the correct screwdriver for it you have to go to Amazon or to eBay and buy a pentalobe screwdriver that's made exactly for those two screws that sit on either side of the charging data port for an iPhone.

you will be wrong, you have to work on the phone in order to get to the battery connection. :) otherwise it will be like that chicken or egg, what came first.
