this is not the correct way of doing this. Once you remove the screws under the mouse buttons, you can push the keyboard upwards, it slides alittle, allowing you to lift the keyboard out from the bottom-up. No prying required.

why to remove backcover? just to remove battery connection? come on.. this isnot a fridge or stove ....

Instead of unhooking from plam side you shows from opposite side which is wrong. once you open keyboard you can clearly see the keyboard lock clamps which has gap side from front position.

He does not unhock from palm side, where the hooks are.. I dont see any problem with the way he does it.. What you say doesnt make any sense..

Sorry, i just saw another who removed it, and he did it in a much easyer way with just popping it twards the screen. But you have to see how its done to understand it.

This so wrong to butcher laptop like this. Just push keyboard up and lift it from bottom, no effort at all.
