Just did this repair while I watched this video. Took 7 hours, 2 trips to the parts store to get the right tool to remove the fuel lines. I broke one heater core hose and the PCV vent hose, another trip to the store. But the transmission shop was going to charge over $800 to do this. THANK YOU! My truck runs great again with 226,000 miles

Just did this to a 2006 Suburban. It was really easy and I also changed out the cam shaft position sensor as well as oil pressure sensor. Figured I might as well since I had access to them. I also put a bead of silicon around the rubber boots of the knock sensors to help keep water out of them. Overall the job took me about 3 hours and I’m fairly new to working on my own vehicles.

It took me just over 5 hours. I stopped for some water breaks but mostly just kept at it. Thank you for a great video! The positive tone in your voice really helped my confidence. I took the laptop to the garage with me and used it to make sure I didn't miss anything, which I did anyway. Duh.... EGR valve wasn't connected snugly.

Hi I have 2003 yukon xl 2500 6.0L. I encountered some problems and fixed them, but I have a problem for which I do not know the solution p0327, p0332, p0135, p0300. I changed the first and second knock sensors with the wiring harness, but 02 sensor I haven't changed it yet, and I cleared the codes, and with a test drive on RPM 2500 to 3000 (check engine) and after checking it showed p0327 p0332 p0135 p0300

Make sure the Die-Electric grease isn't covering the metal pins on the sensors. It's called Die-Electric because it kills conductivity. Put it around the the plastic instead.

You guys do great videos, but how is a bad knock sensor not going to cause damage? I dont know much about knock sensors. Aren't they there to detect detonation and adjust timing and fuel? Without knock sensors, would that allow the engine to not protect itself if there's detonation? Again, Im not very familiar with more modern engines. Thanks.
