I just changed my bag for the first time, now I can't get the lid to close. I have not replaced bag yet as I had to order some, but I thought I still should be able to close it. The only thing I did was unplug the cord that was preventing me from opening lid. I hope nothing is wrong as this is only the first time I changed bag. And by the way I was so impressed at the fact that there was not any dust particles at all in the bag area. Not one! Amazing!

The red plastic bag holder keeps popping out on mine!! It's VERY hard to get it back in properly...is there a trick?????????

@Lynn Dow. There isn't a specific trick to making it stay in. Just make sure you're fitting the frame of the bag into the ridges in the bag holder. They can be easy to miss. Once you line those up and push it into place, it should stay. @@abtelectronics Thanks, Abt Electronics! I am not sure I phrased my problem correctly. The bag itself fits (and stays) just beautifully in the bag holder. It's the bag holder "dock" that's giving me trouble. The bag holder goes into the dock, the bag goes into the bag holder. It's the dock which detaches itself on my vacuum. There are 2 little hook like things at the the top that should hold it, then it's supposed to hang in there and sort of swing! But it's never done that right...I must have goofed it up!

@@lynndow3185 I ran into the same issue, and for future people with a similar problem -- unfortunately the only answer is to just kinda jimmy it in there, but not so hard it breaks. I don't know how I did it, but eventually it snapped into place after much frustration. There's a certain angle that I had to take, and once you find the angle it will snap in. Good luck.
