Way to keep at it. I need to do this on my ‘05 Frontier 2.5L engine. After watching all the work and issues; I’m just going to get a new valve cover with the seals already installed. Thanks for the video it was very informative and insightful.

I was able to crack mine out in glass-like shards after about 20 minutes. Thankfully they do sell replacements for this part here in Indonesia.

Yes sir. If this holds up I’m gonna design removable plates that will seal and hold in new tube seals, so once you drill them out you can just replace them as needed with the Honda ones... 😅

It’s only acting as a spacer, once the silicone dries it’s really not doing anything. It can def get soft when the engine is running but worked out great.

Does the pvc stand that kind of temperature and pressure?

It held up fine. They really only had to hold the seal in place until the sealant setup. But it’s right at the temp where pvc will get soft.

No not on the spark plug tubes. Got to have a seal
