I like that you usually change bearings when you have something tore down. Smart.....

Glad to see some other "how to videos" for older combines. Give me ideas of things to check on our 9500. Only thing that surprised me was y'all went for parts and came back with them....we got to call first to see if our dealer has everything there before we go anymore
@DylanJoyceFarms2 жыл бұрын
I've got to brag on our dealer. Most all parts have been in stock. Only thing we've had to do is wait a day to have them pulled in from the other stores. We've got about four Tennessee Tractor stores all within 45 minutes of us. We can be at 2 of the Hutton Stores in about a hour and fifteen minutes. Also got 2 Legacy equipment stores across the river in Missouri that we can be too in about the same amount of time. We are lucky to be where we are right in the middle of a bunch of good Deere stores. I'm assuming ya'll deal with Tri-Green? I haven't heard much good about them.
@LampleyBrothersFarming2 жыл бұрын
@@DylanJoyceFarms we drove over to TN tractor to get parts before and up to the Hutson too. Tri green is fine if youve got new stuff or lawnmowers. I always just call and I can get the part in a day or two. If all else fells, we just call out at Sexton mo and got.out there for parts

Great video. Going to use this to fix mine. Just one question. How heavy was it to swing lower that unloading assembly
@DylanJoyceFarms Жыл бұрын
The arm isn't really that heavy. Just undo the cylinder and the spring and let it slide down.

Wow, that was pretty exteni for sure!! Great documentary on the process though! You guys really make those tuff jobs look easy!! I like the idea of replacing those bearings while you were in there! So the parts , bearings and such were easily ordered and gotten in a timely manner? Thank you for bringing us along, looking fwd to seeing the harvest very soon😁😁😁🌽🌽🌽🚜🚜🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍
@DylanJoyceFarms2 жыл бұрын
I guess we are lucky or just have a really good dealer. We have not had the trouble getting parts that others say they are having. Most everything can be stock ordered and have it in three days. Can have it next day if they order it machine down but we have to pay freight for that.

Maybe the end of this week. Our corn is still at 25% moisture. I’m expecting to yield around 80 bushels per acre.
