Great video on the pump replacement. Thank you. I'll definitely be watching along as I do the replacement on my own. Might I suggest saying 'alright /ok guys' less in the next video. It would improve the instruction quality.

Thank you for the positive vibe. And thank you for the observation. Will work on it.

What kind of pump do you use an eBay or original?
@all-about-cars-basics10 ай бұрын
I used an OEM one. Just use the part number 0054662201 to get a selection of that you can afford.

I learned that you need to drain your coolant normally to avoid making a big mess.

That is a nice approach to fixing the coolant mess. Thank you for pointing that out. 👍👍

The clip for the reservoir was a pain to remove.
@all-about-cars-basics7 ай бұрын
@@Itz_Joe_Here Yes it always is. I wish they had some simple way to lock it. Also, if you push back the reservoir it usually comes out easy or you can apply some WD-40 it helps at times. Good luck with the job.

@@Itz_Joe_HereI use a stubby flat screw driver (3”). It’s only thing fits in the space and the clip comes out easily. Also use it to install the retaining clip.

There’s no need to remove all the hoses just the fan shroud and it’s doable from there.
@all-about-cars-basics7 ай бұрын
Yes, for a professional person. But for a learning person it's easier removing the hose.
