My radiator in my 04 suburban just cracked but before that there were no symptoms of anything that could have caused it. No over heating, no engine power loss. Nothing. It didn't explode or anything just hairline crack. Gonna need to replace it and this video makes it look super simple.

Thank you you made it look so simple. I'm about to replace mine. I'm not a mechanic no where near one I removed everything so far just need to remove the metal hose connectors to radiator and radiator. Now I feel confident enough to do the rest by myself with no help🤞🏾

Just a quick word of advice. The radiator that came out DID NOT have the oil cooler and yet you replaced it with one that had them. Awesome that you don’t need to worry about coolant pouring out if they aren’t connected but that is a waste of $60(price diff for non cooler radiator)!!

Intake tube clamps are really 5/16 they're sae clamps but 8mm fits but not as good anytime it calls for sae tools I get excited and mandatory must use them... Most of my sae stuff is from the 1960s and USA made I love them

I wish you would of stated what the two smaller hoses were for.

Looks easy peasy. The most complicated thing which doesn't look hard is dealing with the hose clamp down below if you don't have a clamp remover. But I'm assuming pliers should do the job just fine.

I watched this video. I noticed the loose brass connector (upper) when you clipped the line back in.(at 8:32 in the video) Hopefully this is just an instructual video because that brass is going to leak.

If a person replaces an old radiator that doesn’t have the engine oil cooler but puts one in like you just did, is it possible to modify and make it functional? Seems like an oil cooler would be worth using if you got one already

Can I take out the fan before disconnecting those lines at the bottom? Seems like it’d give me a little more space
