Do you need to adjust the emergency break after replacing the pads and rotors? I thought I might need to do that bit it wasn't mentioned in the video.

Great vid. I just really wish you didn’t skip over the bleeding process instead of just a quick explanation.

What can you do if you can’t get the mounting bolts to loosen?
@1AAuto4 жыл бұрын
+MariosBiggestFan112 Playz ROBLOX 2 and Teal Thanks for checking us out! You can use some rust penetrant to try and loosen them up. If you have a breaker bar that may also help!

all they are doing is trying to sell you new items. the calibers can be rebuilt in 3 min. for less than $3.00 dollars each like brand new(just won't be shinny) ......oh no that wont work because it does not have a warranty better spend $150 - $250 dollars 1A auto parts......YA RIGHT
@SpaceMonkey23854 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. If you have a cylinder in a caliper that freezes you need a new one. As he said a bleeder that snaps off you can drill/tap but that is a lot of work that is a little sketchy and the part shown in this video is $74.95. That being said you're somewhat correct as you should change both rear or both front if you have a bad one, so that would be about $150. Also, you are correct as calipers can be cleaned and use replacement hardware to "rebuild" but that doesn't always fix the problem. Good place to start though.

Of course they're trying to sell parts. I'd rather just install a new caliper then rebuild the old one.
