Better late than never! I could have used this video a year or two ago when we replaced our struts on our 2006 Montego AWD (Ford 500). I did the front and took the car to a shop to have the rears done. I couldn't deal with dropping the sub frame to remove a strut assembly. That said, tha same shop forgot to re-install the rear upper spring insulator, so I'm going to have to tear the rear-passenger side strut out again. Thank you for this video. It's amazing!

Other than not saying anything about Lubing the brake pad slide bolts , this is probably the best do it yourself Video I have ever seen …. Just add the fact that spraying down all the Rusted bolts before starting might save you 4 hours drilling busted bolts … Get a can of PB Blaster before starting , and at least 1 can of Brake cleaner to use at the end . Bravo on the careful step by step process … You could work as a Factory Field Engineer for any automotive factory … Best Regards and Luck 😎

People complain about bmw of work on bmw any day of the week then a ford. This is to much work. To replace a rear strut
