If you struggle lining up the strut like I did: disconnect the upper control arm and the rubber brake line behind the hub this will drop the suspension significantly and with a little Downward force and yanking you can get the strut lined up. If it is a tight fit and u can’t wiggle the strut into where it needs to be can tap with a hammer. And then jack up the lower control arm to line it up. If you can’t get the bolt in make sure everything is lined up then put the bolt in as far as it goes and put a socket over it then tap it with hammer. Rinse repeat until you get there ✌️

I bought struts from A1 Auto & installed with this great video & it was no problem. Only thing I can say is they make a creaking sound when driving up a driveway at an angle.

+Ismael Miguel Thanks for watching! When you replace the old springs with new ones it will restore the vehicle to factory height, and can sometimes look like it is too high. You should check stock photos of your particular model and compare it to your vehicle to see if there is a noticeable difference. The front may also be sagging if you have not replaced those yet, further accentuating the height difference. 1aauto.com

Great videos. I use your videos for my 2003 Honda civic. I tried removing the bottom bolt and had no luck using a braker bar. I tried pb blaster and let it sit, then walked with a hammer to losen the rust. Still it won't budge. I'm also thinking of purchasing an air impact wrench. Any recommendations of the torque/power needed and size of air compressor?

Use a Oxyacetylene torch to get the bolt red hot. Then remove the bolt immediately. Be careful the Torch flame is about 3000 degrees.

That’s my issue, it’s not reverse I had it move a bit before the welded side broke and now it just spins 🤦🏽‍♂️

Don't forget.Rust caused the bolt Head to shrink and 17 mm is now too big.Anyone that works at this for a living knows it's not always that simple.

I replaced my rear struts and the back of my car became higher than the front, I figured the front struts were worn as well so I replaced those but the back end is still higher. Any idea what could be wrong? The rear struts are from Monroe if that helps. I'm thinking maybe a manufacturer defect.
