How to replace rear sway bar End Links - Ford Focus 2001
In this video, you guessed it! I will show you how I changed my sway bar bushings/end links on my 2001 Ford Focus.
You can watch how a simple task of unscrewing 2 bolts can lead to not giving a fuck and cutting them off!
Tools needed:
-penetrating oil
-socket set (with long and short sockets + handles)
-wrench set
-Trusty FLEX (angle grinder)
-Eye protection
-Long pliers

Well make instruction video with a torque mentioned. Personally I use some grease on any nut/bolt I replace and use thick " Fluid Film" on exposed threads in case I have to dismantle again .

I saw that some mechanics use paint as thread locker + exposed thread protector. Good tip.

Hello, search for Lemförder bushings. I'm not sure how is in your country but around here (in Romania) you can find it in most auto part stores and online (epiesa.ro).

It depends on where are you from. I’m from Italy, and for the European market there’s AutoDoc (.it , .de …) which has almost everything of every vehicle. These bushings included

ok, so they aren't suppose to rotate just by hand when they r on?... cause i found mine so loose a lot... i could rotate the them by hand.. i dont have a torq wrench but so how tight ahould i make them?

They should not rotate by hand! Until the rubber is compressed a bit.

​@@N33sWorkshop just fixed it ... aahahahhah... after a few failed attempts with new sway bar bushings and links the problem was actually in the sway bar itself.. it was slightly bent.. so i got second hand one and now its just fine.. ahahahahah
