I have a 2016 Dodge Ram Tradesman and this video was spot on for the replacement of the side mirror. I liked that you gave a tool list upfront. I followed the video step by step. It took a little finagling getting the door panel back on but once it was 'aligned' correctly, it dropped right into place. Thanks!

Perfect instruction. The only thing I did different was use a pair of needle nose pliers to pull out the plastic screws. They look more like plugs that expand the ring that I pulled out behind them. Gosh this went so smooth and I appreciate the clear and concise directions.

This video and an after-market part saved me $650! AND it was easy! Doing it myself actually saved time compared to driving to the body shop. Loved the list of tools, so I had everything I needed. Did not need the special clip removal tool. A small pry bar worked fine. I am one happy customer, who will definitely return next time I need repairs.

Thanks a lot. 45 minutes. There were two wires from the panel (don't know what they serviced) but were easily disconnected. Also took multiple time to correctly rehang the panel.

Ok, just did this on my 2015 RAM 1500 Big Horn. Great video. I will say getting the door panel back on again correctly was the most difficult part of all this, making sure everything lined up, keeping the control wires out, getting the door lock and the handle aligned properly was a bear. BTW the entire unit for the passenger side at my dealership here in Gilbert, AZ has 200 on backorder, 6 months to a year wait to get one and it would cost 1100. I got lucky and found one online still cost me 475 but better then the dealer.

I'll just say you missed mention of actually removing the door handle bevel, normally if I was taking the door panel off using only my wits, I would have removed that as soon as I pulled the phillips head screw, but since I was blindly following the video, when the door panel wouldn't come off, I had to do some thinking.

Thanks for checking us out. All of our mirrors are listed to be a direct fit as long as the mirror is purchased with the same options as the original equipment. good video but ran into a problem there was no red safety clip once I pulled out the remote window/door locks section. Does anyone have an idieas? and had a hard time to disconnect . still cant pull it out.

Did you figure it out? I just did it and I didn't have a red clip either. However, I was able to just press down on part of the connector and it came off no problem.

Can’t you just replace the mirror as well without having to take off the whole assembly? Some jerk smacked my passenger side mirror while I was in the store and the housing is good, mirror shattered.

Watched this video in disappointment. I thought this would show how the side glass goes in for manual mirrors but there's nothing about that. Even on your website there's nothing for that. Just need to know mainly how the springs are supposed to sit inside for proper installation
