I'm guessing it depends on which phone you have. Have seen video for google pixel and that looks a bit daunting.

Newer phones really have quite a bit of glue in them, but you can do it if you're patient

It does depend, but really if you have a heat pad to melt the screen glue then they are all pretty easy.

I was hoping there was a way I can just pop out the battery and just switch one. I came here because I lost my th11 base that was on my old phone. The battery charging prongs are broken and I can re charge it. They weren't able to transmit data to this phone because it was dead

you have to gently disconnect it from the connection point, so flip the little plastic bar up and then pull it out. If that doesn't sound right please link to a specific part in the video so I know exactly what you're talking about.
