I have a question, a VW Polo 1.2 of 70 hp 6R, to change spark plugs is it imperative to buy originals from the brand so as not to make a mistake or can we buy brands like Bosch or NGK or similar in competition? I heard an engineer say that he saw a case where they put some NGKs and it went wrong after a few kilometers, which then went out.

Yes you can buy directly from ngk or bosch but thing is there is fake market for all these. If one is buying ngk & bosch from vw its a mark of genuine part. Vw is not sourcing them from dealers or retailers. They are dealing with brands directly. If you can source genuine plugs they won't mess anyway. You just need to care about genuine products nothing else. All these parts are oem. No manufacturer make their own parts. In aftermarket main culprit is copy products.

Bahut faltu tareeke se plugs fenke hai. Isi vajah se plug ka gap kharaab hota hai. 16 number ki goti ki jagah plug catch use kro. Aur usme fasa ke araam se chamber me dalo. Gap maintain rehna bahut jaruri hai. Starting me mast chalegi gap kharaab hone ki vajah se 1-2 hazaar ke baad gadi dum tod degi. Iska dhyaan Rakho
