Thanks for the info and detailed instructions. I think it would be helpful however to know the torque screw size that is next to the fan shroud as well as the bolt size under the idler pulley cap.

It is possible to remove the alternator and replace it without taking the fan and fan shroud off I was forced to do it because the kit that I had to remove the fan would not break loose the nut for the fan so I took the top screw out of the alternator which loosened up the belt enough to where I could take it off because it is also a pulley and it was 16 millimeter bolts on top and bottom of the alternator. I was able to use a tool like a hook to remove the cap off of the tension pulley which exposed the torque nut which is a t-50 and using a thin Serpentine 3/8 Drive bar I was able to use it to replace the belt after I replaced the alternator the only thing is you have to take the top coolant hose off on the end that connects to to motor in order to have clearance to swing the bar completely down in a clockwise motion. I am a mobile mechanic and the customer honestly did not think I could do the job because you looked at the videos also and thought that the fan and fan shroud had to be removed and was amazed when I was able to do it without taking it off

On the alternator installation the are Three types of cables ona is black another on is red the last one is green/white where must be connected
