can we replace the damn capacitor to regular non-rechargeable 1,5V, 9,5mm diameter, 2,05mm height Lithium-ion BATTERY ? And get rid of this solar technology and precious citizen service or self service by looking an old stock capacitors on ebay ..

The rechargeable battery's quality is so bad that battery replacement is needed every 3 years. I had a first generation Citizen Eco Drive with the original battery in it for over 25 years.
