Thanks for the video ,my citizen eco drive was in the box for 1 year and stopped working,i took it out couple of days ago and give it light its not sunny but i tried and it started working ,but date is still messing up and couple of time it stopped suddenly,i take the pin out 1 point and push it back and it started working,can you please tell me shall i try charging it more or it need capacitor change and if yes then how much capacitor change costs? Thanks

Firstly try to charge it with sunlight 7-8 hours. If doesn't work with charging, then may be you need to change the capacitor. It costs depends on. Go to nearest authorized service center. I hope there you will get proper service. Thanks

Where can I find one of those battery retainer "straps" Mine went flying and we just can't seem to find it. Is it totally necessary?

The battery seems to have come in a circuit board. When I bought my replacement battery, it came in a similar little box but in a little plastic bag inside that box, not in a circuit board. It never worked properly since the replacement, I tried long, direct sunlight charges, outdoors to no avail. Looking at batteries on ebay, still the same thing, they come in boxes that says ‘original’ on them but still in a plastic bag. Does it matter?

There is no regular battery in these eco-drive watches only rechargeable capacitors. These capacitors have that little plate on the negative side and they must go in a specific dirección.
