Hello, thanks for your question. I agree with the previous answer: I would recommend sticking with the specified 3000mAh battery (original capacity). A 6000mAh battery would likely be physically larger and probably wouldn’t fit into the compact JBL speaker. Also, if you’ve come across a 6000mAh battery listing, it could likely be a fake capacity claim. Unfortunately, some sellers still advertise exaggerated capacities to attract buyers and gain an advantage.
