After suffering a brain injury in 2001, I switch to a Spyder. Well, I inadvertently unplugged my battery tender😅 And being one of the issues I live with now is a memory issue, I was unsure how to remove the battery Thankfully I found your video. Thanks very much. It made it super simple to remove the dead battery.👍🏻

I have a 09 Spyder SE5, and this was totally spot on. Explaining what tools you’ll need ahead helped a lot too. Got the new battery in within an hour. And this was a first for me. Excellent instructional video.

Just bought a 13 Spyder RSS. Havent been able to ride thanks to the battery. This is helpful since no mechanic near me wants to touch the trike😢

I have some who will touch the trike, but they're also wanting to do a lot of touching of the wallet to do so. This saved a ton.

Matt, very good video! I have replaced my 2008 GS Spyder twice so far, they last an average of 5 years each thanks again for a very good video ! You do realize some Spyders have their battery in the TRUNK, well, a compartment accessible only through the TRUNK for example my 2014 STS and I think most RTs .

Thanks for video. Will these steps applied for 2009 spyder GS SE5. ? I see just right under the seat there are two terminals, the positive is on the left and negative is on the right. Just wondering what they are.

I guess the two terminals I mentioned are for cable jumper when low battery.

I had the same question you think they would put text on the video describing the years this applies to. Must be the 998. Always lead with "Make, Model, Year" and Miles at time of service.
