How to replace the blower motor resistor on a 1998 S-10 Blazer

Simple instructions on how to replace the blower motor resistor, the main issue was fan speed 1 didn't work, most of the time when it goes bad, you only have max speed.

Will this make it so I can control which direction it's blowing out from like feet and defrost..or just defrost mode

No, this only controls the blower motor speed, sounds like you're having a blend door actuator issue
