thank you for this video, im getting ready t change the oil lines on a 95 4x4 blazer, it has 2 different lines 1 from the filter housing to the radioter that you just swapped but there is another 1 that goes from the block to the filter housing & the line bracket for thise lines are connected to the oil pan, it just seems to me that they just made everything harder to do, i do not understand why they judt didnt put the oil filter straight on the block like most older cars instead ofswitching to off set filter placement

@craxydtrain is yours the type where they relocated the filter to the front corner of the fender?

@@theman9764 no its located in the same place in the video, im not sure if that blazer he worked on has 1 line or 2 because it looked like he just replaced the 1 that went from the oil filter housing to the radiator,but there is another 1 that comes from the block to the filter housing, i had trouble fig out how to get that plastic holder that holds the lines to the bracket that then is bolted to the oil pan, now imscared if i remove those bolts my oil pan will leak & i do not want to change the oil pan gasket becayse reading the chilton book its really hard to do

Awesome video, one question, what's the name of the clips you're replacing that hold the pads? I couldn't understand min 10:15
@theman97642 ай бұрын
I think they're called abutment clips or abutment shims, something like that, their main purpose is to prevent the brake pads from vibrating and causing noise

Very Helpful! I received the Non-auto mechanism first. It was replaced with the correct one. Somehow I missed the piece about calibrating the window...it didn't work properly. Then, the "Ah HA"!....and it works properly now. With the driver window half way down, there is a little bit of play in the window? If I hold toward the mirror and then toward the rear, the play is a wiggle from front to back. Is that normal??

Hey, thank you so much for doing this video. It was the best one I found. 👍 Throw this out there while it's fresh in case someone else needs the info: (2000 Jimmy 4WD) I bought the $20 fan removal tool, I feel it was worth it. It's the 36mm side. I was unable to get access to the bottom bracket and the pressure line on the PS pump. It's pretty easy to get at if you pull the whole bracket. 1. Pull both the throttle brackets off. 10mm and detach the throttle cable from throttle body. 2. Pull the AC compressor off. 2 plugs, one front one rear. 4 bolts 13mm. Lay it to the left gently. 3. Take out the 3 PS pump front bolts 15mm? 4. Take out the 3 bracket bolts and one nut 9/16ths 5. Pull the bracket out. Then there's plenty of room to get to the two retaining bolts on the back of the pump. The pressure line on mine had a bendy bit, so I was able to undo the pump to get access to the line on the back. 5/8ths flare iirc. When re-assembling, try to hold the pump kinda how it'll go onto the bracket before tightening the line all the way. I didn't and the line was in the way for putting it back one. Had to loosen it again. Also, after you get the fan out, it worked really well for me draping a coat over the radiator. Protected the radiator and me. If you use the fan tool, make sure to remove the bolt on handle before firing her up. Go slow adding the fluid. I made a mess because the fill tube trapped bubbles. I had to rev my engine to get the PS to engage. Good luck, it's very doable.

Hey man, thanks for the video, I need to do this myself, my wipers are so finicky, I am hoping that replacing the board will do the trick rather than having to take out and replace the entire motor assembly which looks like a royal pain, so I'm going to try this first. mine is a 1998, looks like the same setup....
@theman97642 ай бұрын
Back in the day i worked for several different GM dealerships and we saw wiper issues all the time, and most of the time replacing this module fixed it but occasionally the wiper control switch would be the culprit
@mymusic33542 ай бұрын
@@theman9764 I'm hoping this is the solution, I thought perhaps the switch in the cab that has the cruise and brights and everything but I hope this is the fix, it looks easier than either replacing that whole switch or replacing the whole motor, I think this could be the solution though because typically the wipers will turn on but then if it rains, they often refuse to budge. After things dry out, the wipers will move again, made me initially think it could be the motor, but seeing the board can be replaced, it looks like a good start, then making sure everything is sealed up good, connections are tight etc and see if that fixes things and go from there since the other possibilities are more expensive and time consuming, this is worth a try first thanks again for the video, if this is the fix it'll save me a lot of time and money, and the headaches of the wipers not always working when I need them to. 👍

Nice video man! Picked up a 1987 toyota rv with a 22re. Been sitting for a few years, dropped the fuel tank and cleaned it out with a new fuel pump and fuel filter. Had to fix a lot of wiring as mice got into it. Fired up with a misfire and like your video tested TPS, MAF etc. Turned out it needed new spark plugs. Put in new plugs and wire and it runs like a champ. Passed smog here in CA with flying colors. 22re is such an easy engine to work on and diagnose and runs great even after all these years.
