just did mine, and it is a pain in the arse. Even taking the glove box and the air duct out, the air blower is still in the way, so you can't put it in straight, the filter is made of paper, and in the struggle, the edges crease very easily and then you are unable to push it further.

I just did my daughters, you're right it is a massive ball ache, such a bad design, I removed the glove box and air duct, the issue is that it goes in at an angle but then has to slide straight behind the centre console, and there's a void behind the filter housing so it won't go in without being bent/crushed

if you install a fliter by crushing it like this, it is of little use. Well worth the extra minutes to do it properly
