This is a video tutorial on how to replace the charging port on your Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
All Models: SM-920
N920T - T-Mobile
N920A - AT&T
N920V - Verizon
N920R4 - US Cellular

I used the following tools:
1. Small Phillips head screwdriver
2. Open Prying tool
3. Hair dryer or heat gun

Lol. Don't cut them. I installed this without cutting the back and recent capacitive buttons cables and it works. The trick is to do it carefully. The last step is to carefully heat the corner and separate screen only from the bottom. Then you can slip in the cables. Bit daunting but I did it.

shew, guys what a laugh. Man, I laughed and laughed like in a long time. Thank you for the comments and for the video. Anyway, you can clearly see how to repair the micro USB port on a Note 5. You can clearly see what not to do, cutting is a no, no. By applying heat and carefully separating the digitiser glass from the frame you can slide the app's button and return out and slide the news ones back in. While I was watching & thought how well it was going, for a minute I looked at the dislikes and thought why are people being unreasonable... until we got to the sacrifice part, anyway, had a good laugh. I'm giving it a thumbs up, the video served it's purpose for what I needed and man did I have a good laugh. Thank you and many blessings!!

Not really. The app and back button basically embedded between the lcd and the glass. So if he really want to save the buttons he need to carefully take off the glass, only the glass. And that's probably will ruin the lcd.
