I want to personally thank you for taking the time to put these videos together. I can't imagine how much time it takes to edit one b4 publishing. While all I really needed to do was initially change out the usb port. When changing the usb port card there are two lips that fold around the panel and between the display and the glass. THIS HAS TO BE IN EXACT POSITIONING. explaining this is imperative . I didn't realize how exact it had to be and , while i was very close, now my "back frame" toggle on the bottom right and the "multiple app" quick delete doesn't work...MY BAD....But this step needs heavy attention as it involves removing /seperating display from glass and that's $140.00 or more if broken. I decided to replace the battery since the phone was 3 yrs and less then $20.00 w/2 day shipping. . If I might suggest, and i'm sure you hate these posts, "offer suggestions like, purchase as many cheap replaceable parts while you're down and apart, as you can. Most parts will surprise you as to how cheap they really are. 2} you might let them know that the back cover , while being glass, is very breakable as well as the glass/display {$150.00 roughly} for the street novice without a business license. and so much more can happen during the relace/repair procedures. But the price is really not bad because once you've dissected one of these, you'll know shortly after if you ever want to do it again, and if you decide to purchase repair items like the "repair tool kit" that runs about $25.00 and never forger the two-sided tape and things you might need that you don't figure on. Tape, tools, playing cards, blow-dryer no less then 2000 watts, cotton or leather gloves for handling hot glass/phone, and any extra parts you think might give you trouble along the way. You just spent hours stressing out because we're a novice at this...why not spend more so we don't have to crack it open for another year or so. look , you guys did an awesome job because we realize you can be here to hold our hands and you can assume to know all our screw-ups and questions...If you did , you'd be mind readers....Thanks again Great job

After market screen. Genuine Samsung screen comes with its own quality adhesive. Also looks like different video clips synced together. In previous scene no Samsung label then suddenly there. Nice video but be honest with what your replacing with.

Complete reconstruction here on a T-Mobile Note 5 using eBay sourced parts. I spent just under $80 buying used parts in new condition. The T-Mobile specific items like the USB port and the motherboard tend to sell pretty quickly if they're in usable condition, so I had to learn to buy quickly if I decided it was good enough for what I needed. If I found something and put it in my cart so I could continue shoppiong for other items and it took me five minutes to get everything else rounded up, the original item was sold in the time it took me to get back to my cart. I missed out on many digitizer/frame assemblies because I didn't purchase them immediately. Or I'd be reading the description about it, and as soon as I clicked on the Buy Now button, it had already been sold. Pretty much all I could salvage was my motherboard and a few of the components directly attached to it. Everything needed to be replaced. oh yeah... I almost forgot... I was also able to salvage the two wires for the radios. Anyway, my first phone restore, and it looks like it just came out of the box for the first time. I think if I ever had to crack into another phone in the future, I'd probably be able to successfully replace whatever needed to be.

I know. It's insane. The front and back is made of glass, so it can take some heat from a hotplate before it will start to mark. When the glass feels hot on your fingers but you can still touch it, the adhesive will loosen enough that, you'll be able to pull the glass away from the frame when you use a suction cup. It's very careful work. I damaged my LCD and battery on first attempt on an old phone.
