- Drive smoothly and avoid sudden braking for the first 50 kilometers or so to avoid glazing the new pads.
- Make sure to check the stability of your vehicle before starting the operation.
- Don't burn yourself on the pads if you've just gone for a drive as braking creates friction and long-lasting heat.

Question, when compressing the piston back into the caliper, should you not clamp the brake hose and open the bleed nipple to expel the excess fluid? Re adding it can introduce muck
