How to replace the Hood Struts on a 2015 Infiniti Q50S

One of the most important things when servicing a vehicle is that the hood stays open. Many newer vehicles are equipped with fluid filled struts ( eliminating the old school hood prep / support ).
The last thing you want is the hood to collapse while you're filling the oil. If you noticed a leak or reduced performance then replace these parts. This video highlights how to do so on an Infiniti Q 50 S but should be similar for more makes and models.
