Applies to my Lancer 2014 ES. Worked as provided in the video. Only time THAT I needed to have the powertrain supported was when I had to raise the entire powertrain to lift the bracket for the rear engine roll stop, since the damaged mount fell and hence me needing replace it. And to replace the engine mounting bracket.

Did the 3 "ENGINE" mounts. they stopped my shaking at a stop sign. CAR is acting brand new again. Ahh to be mechanically inclined is such a blessing.

If you’re doing these mounts on a 3.0l you need to drop the subframe a tad to fish out the rear mount!

i have being trying to find a video for the 2003 rear motor mount and can not find one. i could do the others, but this one is kind of tricky. please, help me out.

You should have installed the motor mount long bolt before tightening down the bolts to the cross member. That way if anything is out of line you have some wiggle room. In the vid everything is nice and new and lined up.....real life is not like that.

Maybe if you have a hoist, I just did this on the ground with jack stands. I had to lower the subframe to get to one of the engine mount bolts. And if you tighten the long bolt first when putting back together, you’ll need to jack the subframe up to be able to bolt the mount down, but then you won’t be able to tighten that bolt.

@@connieindahouse I guess my post wasn't clear, you don't tighten the long bolt/nut , you just get it started, then with lots of slack available, line up frame bolts, then when all nuts are started, you start tightening everything down. It's just easier to get everything started before tightening anything.
