How to Replace the Throttle on the Razor Pocket Mod

Is it a common issue for these to go bad? Drove ours one time brand new and stopped working after that

With a razor pocket mod no, simply because most variable speed throttles are 6 wires, meaning they have 6 wires in the plastic connector, but the razor pocket mod electrical controller is a 4 wire, there is 6 wire versions of the electrical controller but it got discontinued.

@@ThePersianPerversion Is it easy to install a multi position throttle on the pocket mod scooter without having to change the wiring or controller under the seat that the throttle wires attach to? I'd like to replace the stock throttle on mine with a multi position one so I can drive with the option of a reduced power/speed output to the rear wheel for better stability and control while riding. Seeing as how this scooter is intended primarily for use by children razor should have designed it with a multi position speed control for the throttle instead of the less safe stop and go at top speed instantly throttle that was included with the product. I'm 47 and had a minor wipeout when riding mine for the first time back on tuesday because the scooter was running to fast.
