@@1AAuto in the video it shows 2 rusted brackets that gold the e-brake cable to the track bar. Do you have a part number for those clips?

Jason M Rockauto.com has them. I just got a few myself. Look under “Brake and Hub: parking brake cable clip”. They’re less than a dollar each.

What’s the purpose of the track bar?

+dan NEWYORK The track bar is used on vehicles with a coil suspension system and is designed to assist with other suspension parts as it works with the steering system.

It keeps the axle centered underneath the truck, otherwise the the entire axle will move left or right. If the bushings are worn the rear axle will make the truck wander all over the road, no matter how good your front steering condition is....
